Although researchers may not be running full sized HPC jobs on a Mac OSX machine, many use them to compile, test, and debug these programs. This guide is meant to be a simple tutorial to help set up a Mac OSX machine with most of the packagescompilers you will need to develop HPC programs.I strongly recommend building that by hand so libomp.dylib is build with the conda mpi compiler. Is this supposed to be possible A new thing with 10.9 is that gcc is just a macro for clang, which maybe is confusing the build scripts.
Data.Table Clang -Openmp Full Sized HPCI noted that theres no make install target, not sure if this is supposed to be it, so I just copied the files manually to usrlocalinclude and usrlocallib and got it to work. I run into the same problems. I want to leave a trace of my struggle for others. I was attempting to compile for OSX 10.9.2 64bits, so I assume mac32e is what I need. There are files only in the includecompat and in the lib.thin folders though. Ill try and see if those are sufficient. Im using ubuntu 15.04 x64, I have both libgomp and libiopmp installed and I compile my code with the following command. Note that the Ubuntu package for libiomp5 isnt quite correct, so you will need to add a symlink in usrlib from usrliblibiomp5.so to usrliblibiomp5.so.5. GOMPcriticalend ( 0x7f9fe0d2d400, 0x7f9fe0d2e9e0, 0, - 1 ) 0. Have you tried building and using the special OpenMP version of clang. Dont put libgomp (headers or the library) in the way of libomp clang uses Intel API, not supported by libgomp.
